On the surface it would seem that CrossFit and Yoga are unrelated, but we believe there is common ground between the two. We are grounded in the belief that functional fitness and movements are the ultimate way to keep the body thriving. We believe in combining the strength, power and endurance of CrossFit with the balance, flexibility and mental benefits of yoga to create a healthy life style that promotes longevity and mindbody wellness.

Now 15 months into crossfit it’s the highlight of my week…the coaches, the athletes, the sport…absolutely love it all.
I attended the “Intermediate/Advanced Power” class and it did not disappoint. The room is warm and perfectly appointed, the instruction and queuing from Kelsey was spot on if you understand true mind/body connectivity and I enjoyed the specific handstand goal that was outlined as the month’s objective to this specific class. Kelsey really is a experienced yoga instructor and I felt this class was as good or better than I could get in Las Vegas or Hong Kong (places I actually live when not visiting family in Terre Haute).
Dropped in for an open gym workout, Molly and Kelsey were very kind and inviting. Staff is very intelligent and know what it takes to make you a great athlete or even just that healthier you that you have been trying to become. The whole crew working out there were very accepting of me as a drop in and has a huge family vibe. I can only say that combining crossfit and yoga are an awesome idea that all the athletes and local students should take advantage of if you really want to achieve higher fitness goals.
Over a year ago a friend told me about Common Ground and I can tell you it’s the best place and choice in the area. Thank you coaches and my CrossFit family for everything!
Professional and friendly- what more can you ask for in a gym? I was brand new to crossfit when I tried my first class and every coach I have had since then has taken all the time I need to educate me about movements and motivate me to my best.
