If you’ve never done CrossFit before or you haven’t in a while, getting started can seem like a daunting task. Many thoughts may be going through your head; am I strong enough, do I have enough experience, do I have the right equipment?? The answer to all those questions is YES you are 100% ready TODAY, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!
NOT SURE WHAT CLASS TO START WITH?
If you’re new to CrossFit we recommend that everyone begin in our xLite classes which is simply CrossFit workouts scaled to meet your personal needs. It’s a great way to get introduced to the CrossFit style workouts called WOD’s (or workout of the day) and learn the lingo, movements and equipment. You can stay in xLite classes as long as you like but if your goal is to attend our regular CrossFit classes you will need to go through our OnRamp Process to help you learn the movements and the proper form to ensure your safety and the best results. If you have zero experience in CorssFit you must complete onramp before you can attend CrossFit classes.
TAKE THE FIRST STEP AND REGISTER FOR A CLASS!
At Common Ground we use an online registration system called Wodify. It’s a great app that allows you to sign up for classes, manage your account and track you progress. (Not a techy? No worries! Just come to your first class about 20 minutes early or call and schedule an appointment and we can get you set up.) We appreciate students signing into classes because it lets us know you’ll be coming and it reserves you a spot in class. Please sign in!
